So it all started when I found I had a lot of sun cream from when I was in Africa and just holidays in general and I was wondering if I could keep them for this summer, so I did a little bit of research, well scratch that a lot! And they only really last for about a year! (*-*). I had to go through all of my cosmetics goods, and well I had to throw away so much! It was so sad!
I never knew that there was a best before date on makeup but there is! Guys there's one!! Its not easy to find let me tell you that, first you have to find the batch number, then you can figure out how long till the best before date.
I find that its super difficult to find and figure out the batch number and all that so I just go by when I buy the product and what the little tube picture. What I mean is that there is a little tub with a number and an 'm' next to it and that's what I go by, but if you can figure out the actual date then well done! This was only a little bit of what I actually threw out.
So, OK since finding out this little detail I looked at all makeup and I had to throw out A LOT of stuff, but I drew the line! I know some people really like to go by the best before date but with makeup I don't! Makeup is or can be quite expensive so I want to use it to the max before I throw it out, but of course if its old no matter how much I love it, i will throw it out. I mean you don't want eye infections or anything like that do you? I had to throw this away! Its so sad!!
So ladies we have to let it go, if you have makeup from like 3 years ago its time to let go! Its gonna be emotional but we all we'll be in a better place!
