Hello everyone!
As you all probably know I live in England and its supposed to be all nice and sunny by this time of year. Sadly all I got was typical British weather which consists of cloud, rain, wind, a tiny bit of sun and more rain! This could all happen in the space of 5 minutes! Even though I'm naturally tanned; I personally feel that at this time of year I feel that I look too pale so I got me a Bronzer!!
I got the Estee Lauder Bronzer as suggested by the title. It comes in two shades I think but I choose the darker one ( Amber Bronze Rich) because it makes me feel like I've just got back from a holiday! ;) Its a part of their Bronze Goddess range, (if its a range!)
Estee Lauder: Bronze Goddess Soft Duo Bronzer |
This was quite expensive it cost me £27 but I kinda let that one go its from Estee Lauder so it was bound to be expensive! The size was totally different to the one I tried on at the counter, it was way bigger!! (the colour and all were the same just the size was bigger, you know what i mean right? Like when you go to their counter usually the sample that they use on you is the same as what you'll get?!? Well if you don't you'll know what I mean when you buy one in the shops)
So this was a bit pricey but you do get a lot of product, the thing that let this down was the brush, its not soft at all!! Very disappointed in that I mean really the least they could do was make the bush soft right? But never mind I got my own soft brush so there :P
The product itself came in two shades as you can see in the picture, the top bit is supposed to be a highlighter and the bottom bit is the actual bronzer, I think. Well that's how I've been using it anyway! A word of warning, a little goes a long way! If you use this as a face powder your face will be a lot darker than your body, it looks like fake tan gone wrong! I suggest using a little to give your self a nice glow but really don't over do it. It also works well when used to contour the face, you know under your cheekbone and jaw line, and all that. BUT blending is key ladies blend, blend, blend! The product feels nice on the face it also doesn't look like its just laying on top of your face and about to rub off on any thing or one, so that's always good. :D
Like I said it has a matte finish so if you want to sparkle in the sunlight this is not for you! Also if your quite pale and want a nice natural tanned or glow to your face this is also not for you get the lighter one! I've only just started using it so I haven't broken out or no one has said 'oh your looking very TANNED' to me yet. If that does happen I will let you know!
So would I recommend it? I would say so far yes, but if your going for the all out tan look without going to get a spray tan or going on a sunbed I suggest you get another matte bronzer!
Well hope that helps (^_^)
xoxo
