A Very British Summer

Hello all, 

It's been awhile since I've posted something and just wanted to share this glorious summer with you all. So currently in the UK (where I live) it is 18c and raining, oh no sorry it is attempting to be sunny; a typical British summer!

So as you all know this is the great summer for the UK, we had the Diamond Jubilee and (currently) the Olympics and Paralympic Games. This is one of the summers to remember! 

So of course this means that we'll be outside for majority of time, or when ever we can :P. It is important to protect your self from the harmful UV rays and I have a few products that I recommend using. Some are old, some are new. :D 

First of all I when to Guernsey for the week to visit friends and of course the weather there was so much better, the weather was beautiful, sunshine all day everyday! Since the tax system is different so the products there were cheaper than the UK so I bought this lil beauty, Génifique Sôleil - Corps SPF30.

This product does have a slight fragrance to it I can't really say what it smells like but the product it self it creamy and does need some blending and rubbing in as it doesn't absorb straight away. This does make your face quite oily looking but I combated the issue with Pond's Magic Powder Oil and Blemish Control Sweetie Pink; which brings me to my next product of recommendation.This was £24.

This is a powder that I was using when I was in Thailand as I didn't want to apply layers and layers of powder whenever my face got oily. This is amazing! It absorbed the oil straight away and has a floral fragrance, its simply the IT product everyone should have! Definitely RECOMMENDED!! You can get this from Amazon for £4 or 5. 

Of course there is always the classic products that I have been using since the beginning of summer well whenever it was sunny this year! As previously mentioned in previous posts the No 7 sun cream is always good and works great and its £13 cheaper than the Lancôme. And last but certainly not least the Lancôme Duo Bronzer well a lil bit of bronze won't hurt anyone. 

Well those are some products that I have been loving and if you want to try it then go ahead they are good products I definitely recommend it!!!
