Urban Decay: NAKED 2

Hello everyone!

Today I will be giving my view on Urban Decay NAKED 2 palette.

Urban Decay NAKED2

Of course this goes without saying there is a NAKED palette! I was tempted by it but I chose this one just because it had more matte shades in it. As you can see from the picture the colours are very neutral and earthy but they are amazing! You can go as natural as you want with this one or if you like the smoky eyes effect but not too found of black this will work great!

I already said in my previous posts I don't like doing swatches we all have different skin tones and some colours might look bad or good on me, this may not be the same for you. You can go into Debbenhams or House of Fraser or Boots (the bigger one) and see for your self whether you like the colours and what its like on you.

Now then lets talk colours. The colours are nicely pigmented and stays on all day, it stays on even longer with their eye primer potion (^_^)  Its so good that when the time came to take it off it didn't really want to come off!

NAKED2 comes with a lil lip gloss and NAKED comes with the eye primer potion (in sample size).

Majority of the colours have shimmer in them but not in an overwhelming amount, YDK (third from the right) is the only shade that I would say is very shimmery! Followed by Chopper (fourth from the left) and Half Baked (second from the left) The other colours has shimmer apart from Foxy (first from the left), Tease (fifth from the left) and Blackout (first from the right). Like I said earlier these are neutral colours but the work great on a day to day basis as well as night time, I think it really is a great product and I'm sure Urban Decay had this in mind when they came up with the concept of the NAKED palette.

The brush that comes with it, is not the best brush ever but at least it came with one, right?!? LOL. There are 12 colours at 1.3g.

Sorry this was a long post but I really wanted you to know what its like before you spend £36. I don't use all the colours so now I'm thinking maybe it would have been better if I just got the single colours from somewhere else! But of course I still appreciate this, as it was a birthday present form my sister (^-^).

How I use it: well it depends on what the occasion is and who I'll be seeing on that day, but the usual daily wear I use Busted on my upper eye lids and lower lash line, I then put the YDK on the middle of both lower lash line and upper eye lids, followed by Blackout as eyeliner and then I use Verve on my inner eye, I think you call it the tear dove or something like that. If you get where I mean, I mean the right/ left corner of your eye (depending on what eye putting it on). I also use Bootycall under my eyebrows just to give it more definition.

Would I recommend this? Definitely YES!!
Even if you don't use all the colours like me I think its a great palette that is appropriate for all occasions.

Hope that helped (or sort of). (^-^)

Until next time
xoxo
