Sawadee everyone!!! (That's hello in Thai)
OK so the good and the bad... the good is that the room is really big and the bath room is really big too. The rolled top bath is huge!!!! So the bad... look at the photo properly, you can see the bath right? Well I think this might have been aimed at honeymoon couples as it is literally just glass! No really just glass and thin white curtains as a mean to not let other people see you naked! Fortunately I was with my mum and we're really close so I didn't mind her seeing me in my underwear when there are gaps in the curtains! But seriously though its still pretty embarrassing!! BUT honeymoon couples this might be the one for you, wink, wink!!
As you probably gathered from my greeting today I am in Thailand at the moment. I have been here for over a month now and I have bought a lot of stuff and just wanted to share my haul with you all. So I will divide everything up into categories, toileteries, hair care and make up, also maybe a bit about the actual trip itself too. ( ^ - ^ )
OK!! So... so far I haven't really been anywhere exciting (I'm actually gutted about this part!). I have been busy with sorting things out for my family as I'm the only person who can understand English properly! The one thing that has taken a long time to sort out was trying to get visa for my uncle so he can visit us in England, its actually really difficult!!!! I have NEVER applied for a visa so I have absolutely no idea of what I need to do and the websites that are supposed to help did not help at all!!. Anyways you guys don't need to know about that...
Okies... I will start of by saying that when we arrived in Bangkok my cousin picked us up and we were in this mayor traffic, like no joke! It took us nearly 4 hours to get to our hotel! :O When we finally made it to our hotel I was so tired, seriously after a 12 hours flight that last bit of traffic sucked the life out of me!! On the bright side our hotel was actually what I expected it to be, I booked 5 nights at the The Heritage Hotel Baan Silom. Just as the name suggests its in the colonial style. I decided to go with the deluxe room and we got the white suit. I can't find the picture of thw white suite I stayed in but this is what it looks like.
Ahh I forgot to say for some reason Thai taxi drivers don't really want to earn money! They are super picky in where they go, this is mostly because of traffic, Bangkok traffic is really bad it can take you up to 3 minutes to just drive a mile! I was sort of lucky in that taxis would rather go to Silom than Sukhumvit area but it is still really hard to get taxis to take you places. So be careful in choosing your hotel if its near the skytrain make sure its a 5 minutes walk at the most as walking in the heat makes it feel like 15 minutes! Oh also make sure you don't have to cross mayor roads because its really hard to cross.
Right so this is a really post I'm going to stop here if you want to know more feel free to ask ^-^ and I will write another post later on and share all my good and bad products that I've brought.
Well that's all for now. Until net time.
xoxo
