Hair, Hair, Hair: Caution!

Hello!

Awhile back I decided to dip dye my hair with Schwartzkopf Live Colour XXL Ice Blonde. SO here's my experience.

Honestly I thought that if people with thinner hair than me (anyone who isn't Asian really) can dye their hair blonde and not have damaged hair then mine would be OK too, but that really was not the case! Ignorant much? I think so! 

SO the results were pleasing the dip dye looked amazing, cause I did it :P But it cost me! My hair was so dry and felt like if I touch too much it would fall off!! Really I thought there would be no end to this!! But after several hair masking process my hair finally recovered (ish) seriously though didn't think it was going to damage my hair that much. 

So here's the good stuff. I used a mixture of olive oil and hair mask, not at the same time though! Although it could be really good... hmm... maybe I'll try this! But anyway... I used olive oil on the damaged part of my hair aka the dip dyed bit and left it in for about 30 minutes and the rinsed it out and a few days after that I used TRESemmé Split Remedy Split Mend Intense Recovery Masque and I'd leave it in for about 30 minutes too even though it says to leave it in for like 5 minutes or something like that. 

I repeated this process for a few weeks and my hair got better (^_^)

So if you had the same problem as me do what I did it helped me so it might help you too or if this didn't happen to you well your lucky but olive oil is good for hair anyway so oiling your hair once in awhile is recommended. Well by me anyway; cause that's what I did before I dip dyed my hair. I think any olive oil will do but I used an organic one. 

So I'm sure there maybe some people thinking "why did you not just get it cut??" 

Well the answer is I didn't want to! I wanted to keep my length and it took me like a year for it to get this long!! Although you won't know how long it is cause I'm not going to take a photo of my self and put it on here purely for this reason! But if you have to sort of know its below my boobies! :P
