I have been begging for mum and sister for a pair of ghd hair straighteners for ages now, when I say ages I mean it! I finally have it and its beautiful!!!!!!! I'm in love, so in love. ( ^ - ^ )
I have the Scarlet Deluxe Collection.
It comes with a travel hairdryer, two hair grips and of course the straightener. When it arrives it came in this massive box, like really big, and when I was opening it I could not stop smiling! That's how excited I was. Anyway it was in a red box and inside that was a red purse where the products were in, I think their main focus with this product was for easy travel so everything fits into the red purse. One word BEAUTIFUL!
I have of course used ghds before that's why I wanted it, they straighten your hair really well and it lasts for a few days, well it did with my hair so that may vary with hair type. I have quite think and kind of straight hair so I didn't really need it but it's just one of those things that you really want and you have to have! But nevertheless I am happy with it. I got it when ghd were promoting their new Pink Cherry Blossom Styler, so it wasn't as expensive as it would normally have been.
Anyway lets talk how good it is.
It takes 30 seconds or something like that to heat up to the maximum heat and it beeps at you when its ready to use, and it has a 30 minutes auto turn off just in case you forget. Its a really good feature I mean you don't wanna burn your house down right, LOLS. Like I said earlier it keeps my hair almost perfectly straight for two to three days and if I curled it would last about the same, so ultimately your using less heat on your hair so its better for your hair, right?!?! ( ^ - ~ )
Well I don't really know what else to say, its a great pair of straighteners it maybe expensive but its worth the investment! If your considering buying ghds then DO IT!!!! If your considering and think its too expensive then stick with the one you've got, but think of it this way if your buying a new pair of straighteners every so often then you might as well save that little bit of money for something that won't break so easily.
