Right the reviewing will commence embrace yourself, a few things before I start I am a woman of colour, Thai to be specific and I use NC30-37 in MAC. I know there are like 3 shades there but you do get darker then lighter then darker (you get the idea) throughout the year! Majority of the year I use NC35.
If you have read my previous posts there was one on BB Cream and that was awhile ago, I think! I found out about it by chance and thought to myself that that's a really good idea and wanted to try some, thus my search for BB Cream began...
Since it was going to be my first BB Cream I didn't know which one to get and what to expect really so I got this one because of its price and assuming with the assumption that the 'Sugar Girl' part was for younger skin it probably wouldn't damage my skin. Also in the picture it looks like the bottle is in purple but its actually pink like the box.
and now Many Many months later finally got some! I started off with a Korean brand which is called Baviphat and I got the Sugar Girl All in One Collagen BB Cream.
Baviphat Sugar Girl All In One Collagen BB Cream |
And the verdict...
The product didn't have any thing special about really, it didn't smell nice or did it really cover anything like other BB Creams out there claim they are doing. This also came in one shade (or it might just be me not noticing it!) it came in a nude, ivory shade. Don't worry it didn't look like that on ^_^ it blended out and made my face lighter and brighter and that's all it really did.
When I first applied it, it was a bit itchy on the skin but then it was fine after a few minutes. It was like this for the first weeks or so of me using it. You might think that I was stupid to carry on using it when it made my face itchy, but ya see I was told that you need to test the product out for like 3 months before you can really tell if it's a bad product! I only really follow that if its really expensive otherwise I would test it out for a few weeks at the most and obviously if I had broken out or had any allergic reaction to it then I would have stopped.
Its got a nice feel to it and spread out really well, absorbed into skin well and has SPF and collagen which is good! It gives your face a matte look to it so power is was not needed in my case, it might be different for you!
Like I said earlier its nothing special but if you wanna try it out then by all means do so. Its good for those who just want to brighten up your face. Oh! also if you have spots or blemishes this will NOT cover it so use a concealer! I guess its perfect for Korean girls since they all seems to have good skin! (currently pulling a whatever face) :P
Do I recommend it??
Ummm... I would say no, because if you spend a little bit more you could have a better BB Cream that actually covers blemishes!
Stay tune I was sent a LOAD of Etude House products by my mother as a birthday gift and my sister got me the ever so popular Urban Decay Naked pallet. I will be reviewing those at a later date ( ^ - ^ )
ps I don't have my camera so I couldn't take photos of what this would look like on with a before and after, sorry, but the other reviews will ^-^
Until then
xoxo
