Hey guys,
As I'm a returning student I have free time so I'm going to tell you a lil bit about my holiday to Thailand :D
So from the previous post I told you all that I had to return to university to get a better grade, but during the summer I was in Thailand. Even though we went during the monsoon season the holiday was relatively pleasant, it was hot, really hot in mainland Thailand and it was well, cloudy and a bit sunny by the coast. Don't underestimate the cloudiness of the sky, because you will get burn, I mean I'm a Thai girl wearing factor 30 sun cream and I got burn!!
Saying that the holiday was very fun! I went shopping pretty much everyday, it was like I had too look at the size of this shopping mall and that's not the only one in the town!
This is only the side entrance! Its massive, not that I haven't said that enough ;)
Anyway lets get moving on to another topic, ummm...Oh how about the trends? ... currently in Thailand the trend is to follow all things Korean! And that we did, well sort of, in our own way I guess we did. We were introduced to Korean bbq! It's pretty cool gotta say!
Anyway here's a picture of our family enjoying the food and alcohol ;) It's not like the bbq we have here, when they said we were having a bbq I was expecting ribs and burgers bu this is what we got.
That's me in the polka dot dress. :D There's more of those but that's the best one where you can see what food is like and how we were cooking it. And yes there were more family but they were sort of camera shy, before the alcohol got rolling that is! ^ ^
The entire time we were there we were pretty much up and down the country to visit family and friends, and of course being all women we were very much into our shopping trips ;)
Thailand is such a beautiful countries so go if you have the chance to (^-^) oh and don't just go to the touristy places go off road there's so much more hidden beauty; and ignore those people who says Thailand is a place that you go to party because it really is not! (well ok there are places like that but that's not all the country is offering)
Well I'm going to have to stop here or I really will be writing an essay! Until next time
NY
